This policy explains iGPU.tw's (網絡商數科技有限公司) purchase, billing, refund, and data-retention rules. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Free trial
- After verifying your phone number via SMS, new members get a 10-minute free trial, once per person
- The trial ends automatically when time runs out — it never converts into a paid lease or charges you
2. Topping up
- Currently only Cathay United Bank credit card purchases are supported, in TWD 500 / 1,000 / 3,000 / 5,000 amounts
- First-time purchases get a discount based on the offer in effect at checkout; the amount credited to your account balance is the full purchase amount (not the discounted amount you paid)
- Purchased amounts go straight into your account balance with no expiration
3. Billing rules
- Billed by the hour. When you click "activate" and your balance covers it, the first hour is charged immediately and the lease begins
- Each additional full hour is charged as it's used; a partial hour is rounded up to a full hour
- Charged amounts are never refunded, including when you end a lease early
- You'll be warned before your balance runs low; once it hits zero, there's a short grace period before the lease automatically ends and the machine is released
4. Refunds
Because activating compute immediately incurs real machine cost, our default policy is no refunds on request. The following exceptions are handled by us, proactively or on your request:
- A card payment succeeded but wasn't correctly credited (bank reconciliation issue)
- A billing dispute caused by an iGPU.tw system failure that prevented normal use of a lease
- Duplicate charges or incorrect amounts
If any of these apply, email info@igpu.tw within 7 days of noticing the issue, with your account, order number, and a description. We'll respond within 7 business days.
5. Data retention & deletion
- After a lease ends, data is kept free for 2 hours for download
- Longer retention is available for a daily fee — see your account for current rates
- Once the retention window (free or paid) expires, data is automatically and permanently deleted — this cannot be undone
- Leases forcibly terminated for violating our Terms of Service may have their data cleared immediately, without any retention period
6. Invoices
Each purchase is invoiced per your setting — a personal e-invoice (emailed) or a company invoice (requires a Taiwan tax ID and company name) — issued by 網絡商數科技有限公司 (Tax ID 80264051). All amounts include applicable tax.
7. Billing disputes
If you have questions about a charge, billed hours, or your usage history, please contact us first. If we can't resolve it directly, disputes are handled under Taiwan's Consumer Protection Act or the jurisdiction named in our Terms of Service.
